An EEG test is a test that is done to record and track the wave patterns of the brain. In it, small but flat metal discs, which are known as electrodes to the common world, are fixed to your scalp with wires. If there are any electrical impulses in the brain, they are directly analyzed by the electrodes. A signal is then persued to the computer that finally delivers the results. If you see the electronic impulse in the test, it appears as those wavy lines that will remind you of the peaks and valleys of your geography books. With these lines, doctors can assess if the waves are normal or not. If it is not normal, it may indicate some brain damage or seizures
